Festivals of Odisha - Kalinga Mahotsava





Dhauli Kalinga Mahotsav or the National Festival of Martial Dance is celebrated in the month of January to mark the victory of peace over war. Pradhanpat Water Fall

The Pradhanpat Water Fall is belonged from Pradhanpat Hill is a picturesque waterfall which is surrounded by some of the rarest scenic sights of nature which makes it one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Orissa.

With rolling hill and green woods creating the backdrop, the Pradhanpat Water Fall cascades down like a stream of colors. A treat for the eyes, the Pradhanpat Water Fall is one of the greatest treasures of nature. There are two guest houses near the Pradhanpat Water Fall, the Basanta Nivas and Lalita Basanta and they are the perfect places from where the beauty and charm of the Pradhanpat Falls can be enjoyed most intimately.

Winter is the best time to visit this spot. Many people choose this spot for picnic. Pradhanpat waterfall is well blessed by nature.

   Days Itinerary  
1.     Day - 1 : Arrive Port Blair
On arrive at Port Blair airport, our representative will receive and escorted to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel and little relax, we starts the sightseeing with Anthropological Museum,which displays the tools, models habitats, art and handcrafts of the aboriginal tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands from Anthropological Museum, we proceed to Corbyn's, Cove beach.Light & Sound Show at Cellular Jail : At evening, we move for the Light and Sound Show at Cellular Jail where the saga of the freedom struggle brought alive.

2.     Day - 2 : Port Blair  Ross Island  Harbour Cruise (Viper Island)
Today, after breakfast we will proceed for a cruising towards Ross Island and Harbour Cruise (Viper Island). Ross Island, the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime, it now stands an imposing relic, with the structure almost in debris. A small museum displays photographs and other antiques of the Britishers, relevant to these islands. HARBOUR CRUISE (Viper Island) : Afternoon, we proceed for a cruise of harbour, the panoramic view of seven points from sea ie; harbour, floating docks, etc including a trip to Viper Island the place of execution.

3.     Day - 3 : Port Blair north Bay Island (Coral Island)
Today we proceed for a full day joyful trip to North Bay island (Coral Island) by ferry. North Bay, offers exotic coral, colourful fishes and underwater marine life. We can view these colourful corals & underwater marine life via in glass bottom boat and snorkeling (optional).

4.     Day - 4 : Havelock Island- Port Blair
After breakfast, we proceed to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), the Times Magazine rated the finest beach among the best beaches in Asia. It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach. After noon we proceed back towards Port Blair (via ferry) and overnight stay at Port Blair.

5.     Day - 5 : Port Blair City Sightseeing Harbour Cruise(Viper Island) - Shopping
After Breakfast, we take you for the tour of Port Blair city which covers Cellular Jail (National Memorial), Chatham saw mill (the oldest and biggest mill in Asia), Forest Museum, Mini Zoo, Samundrika (Naval Marine Museum), Aquarium (Fisheries Museum), Science Centre, Gandhi Park, Marina Park, Andaman Water Sports Complex. Shopping : At evening, we proceed to Sagarika ( the Govt. Emporium of Handcraft) and local market for shopping.

6.     Day - 6 : Depart from Andaman Islands
Drop to Port Blair / Harbour for Return journey.
