Day 01: Arrive Bhubaneswar
Day highlight - (As per the arrival timing on day 01)
Bhubaneswar is known as the ‘City of Temples’ where one can explore more than 700 ancients temples. The most important temples of Bhubaneswar are the Parasurameswar Temple (7th Cenutry AD), the Mukteswar Temple (10th Century AD), the Rajarani Temple (11th Century A D) and the most significant of them all, the Lingaraj Temple (11th Century AD).
Lingaraj Temple: The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the lingam here is unique in that it is a Hari - Hara lingam, half Shiva and half Vishnu. The temple is about a thousand years old and dominates the skyline of Bhubaneswar from as far as 15 km away and exhibits the skill of the Orissan temple architects.(Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple premises).
Rajarani Temple :
This temple got its name from red- gold sand stone, called Rajarani locally, used in its building, and the temple has no presiding deity. The temple has intricately carved figures in various stages of daily chores & it is called Khajuraho of Orissa.
Day 02: In Bhubaneswar
Post breakfast proceed to the Nandankanan Zoo and its unique White Tiger Safari. Enjoy a journey on a rope-way during your visit to the Botanical garden. Back to the hotel for shower and some delicious Orissan cuisine. Afternoon one can visit 2nd Century B.C. Jain caves (dwellings of monks) at Khandagiri and Udayagiri. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Bhubaneswar To Puri via Konark
Drive from Bhubaneswar to Puri, famous for the Jagannath Temple, one of the four holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus, and also its superb golden beaches. En route visit Konark, one of India’s architectural wonders. Lunch break at Chandra Bhaga beach at the eco village resort on sea. Then walk to a fishing village to see their activities and dwellings. Later drive along the shore past lush green forests. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Puri - Chilika
Early morning walk on the sandy beach and enjoy the sunrise. Post breakfast proceed to visit the Vishnu temple (Known as Jagannath Temple) from the roof- top to get spectacular views & photos as non-Hindus are not allowed inside. Then proceed to visit Chilka lake in Satpada. Boat cruise to explore friendly Irrawady Dolphins. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Puri - Bhubaneswar
This morning head towards Bhubaneswar. En route visit Raghurajpur artisan village, Pipli-applique craft village, Hirapur 64 Tantrik-Yogini Temple along with the bell-metal work village and Dhauli-Buddhist stupa. Drop at Airport/Station for onward journey.
